This piece is about that in-between space—right before you fall asleep, when your mind starts slipping into a dream. I’ve always had really vivid dreams, but I’ve never been the type to keep a dream journal. Instead, I just reflect on them in the morning, almost like little stories with a purpose. This painting is my way of capturing that feeling—the hazy, surreal shift from reality to the dream world.
